Budget Item Detail
Introduction
Budget Item Detail is a subsystem of the BusinessPlus budgeting process, used to provide narrative and statistical information for line item and sub-line item budget items.
Features
Budget Item Detail, in its most basic form, is a way to assign specific justification or description to dollar amounts that have been budgeted. Once the detail has been created, the total dollar value is rolled up by account number, by way of a selection template, and can then be uploaded to the general ledger database in which the actual expense will be posted.
