MN Economic Security Quarterly SUI

Mask: PYRESRMNES

 

This process produces the Minnesota Economic Security Report, a summary of wages paid to each employee during a selected quarter and also produces a file in the Minnesota State Record Format Type D – Employee Detail Record.

 

The process asks the following questions when the mask is invoked:

 

  1. Enter a four-digit tax year: Enter the tax year for the report.

 

  1. Enter a one-digit quarter number: Enter the quarter for the report.

 

  1. Enter the name of the file to be created: Provide the name of the file that will be sent to the state authority requiring the Economic Security Report.  This file will be created in directory data (UNIX) or group DATA (MPE).

 

  1. How would you like employees selected? This question and any following questions are standard selection criteria questions asked by IFAS Payroll.

 

 

 

Common Codes: Two common codes need to be set up prior to running the process. 

 

Common code PYFG/PY622C is used to control the data extraction portion of the process:

 

Short Description: Used by SBI for debugging purposes.

 

Medium Description: Used to control the sort of the report/file.  Allowable values are SORT-BY-SSN, SORT-BY-ID and SORT-BY-NAME.  At this time, only the SORT-BY-NAME option has been implemented.

 

Associated Numeric Value 3: Used to specify the Gross Wages pay base to be reported (normally 6002).

 

Associated Numeric Value 5: Used to specify the hour base that will supply the values to be reported (normally 7001).

 

Associated Description 5: Used to specify the cluster/attribute name of the employee master field which will specify the SUI Special Code used for sort/page break/totaling in the Economic Security Report. 

 

Common code PYFG/781MN01 is used to supply needed values for the report.

 

Short Description: Used by SBI for debugging purposes.

 

Medium Description: The ten-digit Employer Account should be entered in this field.
