Employee Setup

When payroll is run, the PY employee master, pay assignment, and CDH assignment information is taken into account during payroll calculations and processing.

Employee-Specific Payroll Pages

PYUPEM	Employee Definition — Holds employee information that originated from the Human Resources subsystem (HREMEN).
PYUPEP	Employee Pay Assignment — Review each employee's pay assignment record. Each pay assignment record contains a pay string and salary information. The pay string specifies the general ledger information for posting purposes. PYUPEP records originate from the Human Resources (HR) module Employee Pay Assignment (HRPYPA/HRPYQP) pages.
PYUPEC	Employee CDH Assignment — Assign contributions, deductions, and hours (CDH) to employees. These assignment records specify the default actions the system will take for payroll when processing CDHs for employees. PYUPEC records originate from the Human Resources (HR) module Benefits (HRPYBE), Taxes (HRPYPR), Direct Deposit (HRPYPR), and Deferred Compensation (HRPYPR) pages.
PYUPEF	Direct Deposit Information — Holds electronic funds transfer information to an employee's account. The information entered here will also populate the PY Employee Deduction Assignment (PYUPEC, Deductions tab) page.
PYUPPH	Employee Paid/Unpaid History — Holds check history information that is used for the calculation of all payments, contributions, deductions, and leave hours accrual. Note that Payroll History Transfers (PYUPHT) can be used for the redistribution of existing paid PY history information to a series of pay lines different from the original lines.
PYUPEA	Employee Accumulator — Used to browse various to-date information in the user-defined accumulators. An accumulator is designated for each employee's contribution, deduction, hour, and payment (to the corresponding hour) that has the "XTD" field on PY Deduction, Contribution or Hour Definition pages set to "Y." Accumulators are stored for each Pay Base and Hour Base indicated on the PY Entity Definition (PYUPGN) page.
PYUPCX	Contract Accumulator — Used to view the status of a given contract for an employee.
PYUPAT	Arrears Tracking Transactions — Used to enter/change/browse Arrears Tracking information.
