ACAR - 1095CADR

Optional Configuration for 1095-C

This common code is not required to process 1095-C forms. It is used to designate the line and the column where the Employee Name and Address and the Employer Return Address are placed on the legal form if you need to change the location from the defaults.

The Employee information defaults to start on line 77 and column 30, and the Return Address defaults to start on line 64 and column 04. If this common code does not exist, the defaults are used.

Increasing the numeric values moves the text lines down and columns to the right. Decreasing the values moves the text lines up and columns to the left. You can adjust one or both numeric values from the defaults.

Examples:

Employee Name and Address: To move the employee text down one line and to the right three characters, you would enter 78 (default 77 + 1) in Numeric Value 1 and 33 (default 30 + 3) in Numeric Value 2.

The minimum and maximum values for the Employee Information are line 72 through 79 and column 20 through 40.

Employer Return Address: To move the employer text up one line and to the left three characters, you would enter 63 (default 64 - 1) in Numeric Value 3 and 01 (default 04 - 3) in Numeric Value 4.

The minimum and maximum values for the Return Address Information are line 65 through 70 and column 01 through 10.
