POWF - WFNOTIFY
Tag PO with a Req. Code with or without Workflow
This common code adds and updates unique statuses within the Req. Code tab. For instance, show a PO as printed, reprinted (or disencumbered with a custom workflow model). The basic functionality involves printing a purchase order using the POPO utility that prompts this common code to place a Req. Code into one of the 10 fields within the PO Purchase Requests (POUPPR) page, Req. Codes tab (pop_req_codes01). Disencumbering is triggered with POMADE, POUTCL, or ENUTD1.
Each of the 10 Req. Code fields in POUPPR holds a two-character code that references a secondary NU common code (required) with the Code Category / Value of PORC/XX or PORC/YY (where the XX or YY reference the code or text to display within the field). Target one of these fields by adding the POUPPR field number into this common code's Associated Numeric Values (1) field.
"WF" (Workflow) is optionally used with a custom WF model that will prompt an action based on the POPO utility triggering this common code. Without a custom Workflow, the Req. Code field specified in the Associated Numeric Values (1) field will populate when this common code is active.
Note that the Req. Codes may add comments and messages to a printed Purchase Order by referencing the Req. Code within the PO Print Format (POUPFO) page for a specific Format ID.
To deactivate, adjust the ledger or the Associated Numeric Value to blank, zero, or number greater than 11.
