PYFG - PROJBALx

Configuration for projected leave balances on payroll and Employee Online Check stubs
This common code is used to configure mapping between the Leave Balance Projected Hours code to an Hours Base. Up to 45 mappings are allowed, up to five mappings on each of nine codes.

This is used by a district’s custom payroll check writer and needs to be programmed into a district’s custom py660xxx program.

Code Category: PYFG

Code Value: PROJBALx (Where x is a number between 1 and 9)

Short Description: Used to describe the common code.

Medium Description: Used to describe the common code.

Long Description: Used to describe the common code.

Associated Numeric Values

1-5: Designates the hours base to be mapped. Up to five hours bases can be mapped on a single common code.

Associated Codes

1-5: Corresponding CDH code for the Projected Balance for each hours base being mapped.

Associated Descriptions

1-5: Use to document the hours base being mapped. No functional use.

Example:

If CDH code 3555 represents the projected balance for hour base 7 (Vacation) then set up PROJBAL1:

  • Associated Numeric Value 1 = 7 (the system appends zeros following a decimal).

  • Code 1 = 3555

  • Desc 1: Enter an appropriate description, for example: Vacation - Hours Base 7.

If you need to map another hours base, on PROJBAL1 use Value 2, Code 2, and Desc 2. Up to five hours bases can be mapped on a single common code.

If more than five hours codes need to be mapped, create another PYFG/PROJBALx incremental common code. Use PROJBAL1 for the first five, PROJBAL2 for the next five, and continue up to PYFG/PROJBAL9 as needed.
