RRWI - PARTNDX1

All records are identified by a State and Local 18-character WOFAR code using the following format. The 18 Character WOFAR code layout is: Fund (2), Type (1), Location (3), Object (3), Function (6), Project (3).

Associated Numeric Values
1-5: Holds the Key or Object code primary or Secondary part number. For primary Keys & Objects Parts, only the integers from 1 to 8 are valid. For secondary Keys & Objects Parts, only integers from 1 to 32 are valid.

If KEY or OBJ is used in the codes field then the values field should be blank.

1-5: Holds one of the following values:

  • KEY: Key

  • KPT: Primary Key Part

  • K2P: Secondary Key Part

  • OBJ: Object

  • OPT: Primary Object Part

  • O2P: Secondary Object Part

You can also enter a starting position and a length to the variable in the format (AA:BB) after the three-character part name, where AA is the starting position and BB is the length. For example, if your Object codes are six characters in length and you only want the last three characters for the WOFAR Object then you would enter OBJ(4:3). If the Object code is 123456, the WOFAR Object would be 456.

1-5: Used to describe which part of the WOFAR code is being defined. 1-Fund, 2-Type, 3-Location, 4-Object, and 5-Function.
