Update
Note: Always consult release-specific update instructions before proceeding with an update.
Download the BusinessPlus Components Service Packs and Patches via the Customer Services Web site. A login and password is necessary to enter the site. Select the appropriate service pack or patch and download to your PC.
Copy the downloaded file to the machine that is to be updated (or to a network resource that the machine can browse to).
Install the update on the application server and Web server(s).
Review the status files.
Windows Application Installer
The BusinessPlus Service Packs and Patches have various switches that may be used with the update. The following are available:
/s Launch Service Pack without any user intervention. Backup is disabled. For example, bp_7.11_SP_0.EXE /s
/b Launch Service Pack with backup enabled. Used with a /s will back up the bin directory. For example, bp_7.11_SP_0.EXE /s /b
/r Launch Service Pack with Auto Reboot enabled. If a reboot is needed as part of the service pack, it will occur without any user intervention. For example, bp_7.11_SP_0.EXE /r
