Encumber Work Order - WOUTEN

This process encumbers each account, as entered on WOUPWO, for the entered work order number.

The Encumbrance Reference must be no longer than eight characters. If an Encumbrance Reference is not provided, the work order number will be used as the Encumbrance Reference. "SYSTEM" may be entered as the Encumbrance Reference to generate a reference from common code SYNO/ENREF seed, if this common code is defined.

When a work order is defined in WOUPWO with the “Encumber” box checked on the Misc. Information tab, running WOUTEN with “SYSTEM” as the Encumbrance Reference creates an Encumbrance transaction record with a Reference number that is based on the next available seed in the SYNO/ENREF common code.
