Custom Pay Calc Definitions - HRTBCC
The Human Resources (HR) Custom Pay Calc Definitions (HRTBCC) page is used to define custom calculation options for the HR Pay Assignment (HRPYPA) pages.
There are many ways to calculate employee pay and the standard calculation codes do not always fit what is needed. Custom calculations can be created using the fields below. These are then assigned on the HR Pay Assignment page, in the Calc Option field.
Entity: The Entity is used to identify security clearance. The field defaults to the entity associated with the logged in user on HRRQUS, if a record exists. Code values are defined in the HR Entity Codes (HRRQEN) page.
Calc Option: Select a calculation option from the list. Code values are defined in static system codes. Valid options are C0 - C9.
Rate Type: The Rate Type indicates the initial value that will be calculated regardless of how the salary table amount is expressed (e.g. regardless of what is in the AXP field). This initial rate type can then be used in subsequent calculations. Code values are defined in static system codes.
Rate Type Calculation
All coded values are system codes and cannot be modified.
Annual: These fields define the calculation logic to translate a salary table amount that is expressed as an annual amount into the type entered in the Rate Type field.
Monthly: These fields define the calculation logic to translate a salary table amount that is expressed as a monthly amount into the type entered in the Rate Type field.
Semi-Monthly: These fields define the calculation logic to translate a salary table amount that is expressed as a semi-monthly amount into the type entered in the Rate Type field.
Bi-Weekly: These fields define the calculation logic to translate a salary table amount that is expressed as a bi-weekly amount into the type entered in the Rate Type field.
Weekly: These fields define the calculation logic to translate a salary Table amount that is expressed as a weekly amount into the type entered in the Rate Type field.
Daily: These fields define the calculation logic to translate a salary table amount that is expressed as a daily amount into the type entered in the Rate Type field.
Hourly: These fields define the calculation logic to translate a salary table amount that is expressed as an hourly amount into the type entered in the Rate Type field.
Pay Assignment Base Amounts
Annual: These fields define the calculation logic for the base annual amount.
Period: These fields define the calculation logic for the base period amount.
Daily: These fields define the calculation logic for the base daily amount.
Hourly: These fields define the calculation logic for the base hourly amount.
Pay Assignment Actual Amounts
Annual: These fields define the calculation logic for the actual annual amount.
Period: These fields define the calculation logic for the actual period amount.
Daily: These fields define the calculation logic for the actual daily amount.
Hourly: These fields define the calculation logic for the actual hourly amount.
Literal: The fields labeled "Literal" are used to store custom literal values that are to be used in the calculation.
Calc Priority: These fields indicate the order in which the eight amounts are calculated. Valid entries are 1 - 8 (1 being highest priority) and must be unique. An entry into each field is required in order to save a record.
