Employee Settings in EO
Personal Information
Read Only: Used to make the entire Personal Information card on the Employee Information page read-only.
Email Read Only: Used to make the Email read-only.
Personal Email Read Only: Used to make the Personal Email read-only.
Show SSN: Indicates the SSN, or a portion of it, is displayed.
Display Last X Digits: If Show SSN is selected, this field indicates how many digits to display. If blank, all digits are displayed.
Show Race/Ethnicity: Controls whether the Ethnicity and Race card is displayed. If selected, the card is displayed to the employee.
Show Preferred Name: Used to control the display and update of the employee Preferred Name field on the Employee Personal Information page.
Show Electronic Forms Opt-Out: Used for clients who allow employees to opt out of submitting personal information electronically. If you select this option, the Opt-Out field title and checkbox appear at the top of the Employee Personal Information page. If the employee selects the checkbox, a record is created in the HREMET, Supplemental Tracking page with an Item Code of OPTO. If the employee clears the checkbox, the system deletes the record in HREMET.
If you select this option and one or more employees selects the option while it is available, and you subsequently clear this option so it is no longer available for employees, the existing records are not deleted.
You need to add the OPTO code to the HR Entity Specific Codes (HRTBCE) page under the Code ID of TRACKING_CODE.
Additional Phone Display
Phone Number 3-6: Used to control the display of additional phone numbers on Employee Personal Information, Phone Numbers card.
Option to Hide / Rename Card Name: Personal Information, Education, Skills, Licenses and Certifications, Credentials, Courses, Tuition, Training, Current Position, Historical Positions, Tracking
Hide: Used to make the card not visible on the Personal Information pages. Functionality removes card from page only. To remove the item from the Personal Information menu, use Settings, Menu Setup.

Family Members
Read Only: Used to make the Family Information card on the Employee Information page read-only.

Emergency Contacts
Read Only: Used to make the Emergency Contacts card read only.

Employee Directory
HR Privacy Codes are defined in HRTBHR, Code ID of PUBLIC_PRIVATE and assigned to employees in HREMEN Address tab, Public/Private field.
Enable Privacy: Indicates privacy settings are to be considered for displaying email addresses, addresses, and phone numbers. When selected, the HR Privacy Code grid appears.
HR Privacy Code grid settings: Based on the HR Privacy Code and the checkboxes selected, employee data appears or is hidden in Employee Directory results. Selected boxes include the data in the directory. For example: If an employee has PRIVATE PHONE ONLY privacy code in HR and the associated Address and Email checkboxes are selected, the search results will show the employee, their address, and their email. The Phone column will contain the tilde symbol (~).
Personal Email: Reserved for future use. No functionality currently assigned to this column.
Filter by Entity: Indicates to search for employees matching the user entity.
Filter by HR Status: The display of records can be controlled using the employee HR Status field. When the box is selected, a list of all HR Status Codes, defined in HRTBHR with Code ID HR_EMPLOYEE_STAT appears. Select the status codes that are to be factored into the display of records in the results grid of Employee Directory. If an employee has a status code that is not selected, that employee will be omitted from the search results.
Location Search: Indicates if Department or Location is to be available for location searches.
Job Information
Pay Assignment Dates for Salary Index: By default, the dates appearing on the Position cards are HR Pay Assignment Pay Dates. Select Calc Beg/End to use Calc Dates.
Show Future Positions: When this box is selected, the Future Positions card is displayed in the Job Information page.
Filter by Assignment Status: When this box is not selected, the filter based on assignment status will not be applied to the current, future and historical job positions in the Job Information card. When this box is selected, all defined Assignment Status codes are displayed, as defined in HRTBHR where Code ID = ASSIGNMENT_STAT. The Code and Short Description display under the header Assignment Status. When Current, Future, and/or Historical boxes are selected next to an Assignment Status, that assignment status will be included in the criteria to select which assignments are displayed in the applicable card. Pay assignments from HRPYQP that have no Assignment Status are not displayed.
The Future Positions card is optional. To add this option to the menu, go to EO Administration, then Menu Setup, Menu Items, Personal Information, and choose Job Information. Enter the following link: ./JobInformation?Focus=FutureJobInfo.
Education and Skills
Courses
Show Course Totals: Option to show course totals on the Education and Skills, Courses page.
Tracking
Tracking codes will be listed by Entity. The following section appears in the Settings area regardless of whether the Tracking menu is added for the employees to review.
Tracking Code: The displayed codes and descriptions are from the Entity Specific HR Codes (HRTBCE), Entity Specific Codes tab.
Display: Indicates which Tracking Codes are to be displayed to the employee.
