Task Definition - BQUPTD

The Bid/Quote Management (BQ) Task Definition (BQUPTD) page is used to define all tasks that will be used in a formal bid process. Task definitions may include any task dependencies that the user wants BusinessPlus to control. If dependencies are established, BusinessPlus will validate them as users try to mark tasks as complete. For example, all pre-tasks must be completed prior to the system allowing the task in question to be marked as completed. Pre- and post-tasks can be established as required. You may "page" through all items entered. Another important item on this page is the number of days necessary to complete the task. Days may be expressed in either business (i.e., workdays) or calendar days. This information is used to establish a total timeline for a complete bid cycle. Miscellaneous comments are entered at the bottom of the page.
