FAFG - DISPOSE

Fixed Asset Status for Disposed Assets or FADPDS
This common code determines which code represents the status of a newly disposed fixed asset. Once an asset is disposed, the system updates the FA's status to "DI" or define this alternate status as the default status for disposed assets. The system defaults to "DI" when not using this code.  The Associated Codes select the codes to be used, but these codes must first be defined within FA Code Values (FAUPCD) page. (Optional)

Associated Codes
1: Enter the two-character Status code (e.g., "DP") that will be assigned to a disposed Fixed Asset IDs (FAID).
2: Enter the two-character Status code (e.g., "DP") that indicates if a Fixed Asset has already been deprecated earlier.  If not defined the default value is "DI."
3: Enter the two-character Status code (e.g., "DP") that will be assigned to Fixed Asset IDs once they have been deprecated for a repeat time, via FADPDS.  If not defined the default used by FADPDS is "DI."  Example: if the FA ID has been depreciated earlier (the Last Depr. date is not null), the FA Type is SL8, and the FA Status is the same as the second associated code in FAFG/DISPOSE (will default to DI if blank), then it will depreciate the asset.  If third associated code in FAFG/DISPOSE is not blank, then when the FA Type is SL8, and the FA Status is the same as the second associated code (or the FA Status is DI if the second associated code is blank), then it will update the FAIDNT screen to set the Status to the value in the third associated code.
