Folder Manager
The Click Drag & Drill Folder Manager plugin provides a method to create and manage CDD Reports, Category folders and folder assignments. The Folder Manager was previously accessible from NUUPFM.
Create, rename or remove folders by selecting the folder from the list and using the function buttons located on the toolbar. Alternatively, the same functions are available on the context menu when you right-click a folder. Assign Reports and Information Categories to folders by dragging them from the Report or Category list to the desired folder in the CDD Folder Manager window. Remove folders by selecting the folder and clicking the Remove Items button on the toolbar, or by right-clicking the folder and selecting Remove Items from the context menu.
Add Folder: Adds a new folder to the selected folder and puts the folder name into Edit mode. Type the desired name of the folder and press Enter or click elsewhere in the application to apply the change.
After you add a new folder, you must run Manage Security Structure to add the new folder to the security structure. Then, rebuild the security for the roles or users that are given access to the new CDD Folder.
Delete Folder: Delete the currently selected folder and its assignments. This only deletes the folder assignments. It does not remove the reports or categories assigned to a folder.
Rename Folder: Rename a specific folder.
Remove Item: After a Report or Category is selected, this option removes the assignment of that item from its currently selected folder. This only removes the assignment, not the actual item.
Update Servers: Used to inform 7i BusinessPlus servers to flush their cached version of the security information and refresh that information.
Report List: The list of reports currently available in the System Catalog. Use the Search button in the header to search for a report by Report ID or Description. Use the Page buttons to move between pages of reports. Set the number of rows per page by selecting Preferences, then Settings for the plugin on the CDD Folder Manager tab.
Category List: The list of Information Categories currently available in the System Catalog. Use the Search button in the header to search for a report by Category ID or Description. Use the Page buttons to move between pages of categories. Set the number of rows per page by selecting Preferences, then Settings for the plugin on the CDD Folder Manager tab.
Folder List: The two main folder trees in the plugin display the current Category and Report Folders. To assign a category or report to a specific folder, drag the item from the Report or Category list to the desired folder. Reports can only be assigned to Report folders and categories can only be assigned to Category folders.
