Reviewing an Instance Being Processed

  1. Open the Workflow Designer and go to Tools > View Queue...
  2. If there are no records in the queue, open the user active Workflow model and go to Tools > Attach... and look for an instance record associated with the transaction the user created.
  3. If the user finds the instance record then it has already been processed through the queue.
  4. If there is no instance record found when attached to the active model proceed to step 6.
  5. If there are records in the queue waiting to get processed, hit the refresh button after 1 to 5 minutes to verify that they are being processed.
  6. What if it appears that the queue records are not being processed?
  7. Verify that the Workflow Services on the server are running.
  8. Verify that the Sleep DWORD on the server under HKLM/Software/BusinessPlus/Workflow is set properly.
  9. Verify that the Process Only DWORD on the under HKLM/Software/BusinessPlus/Workflow/ is set properly.
  10. Check the Application Event Viewer on the server for errors.
  11. Stop and restart the Workflow Services on the server. In addition, if this is a new install of Workflow or there has been a recent upgrade, the Data Processing Services may need to be restarted. If all else fails, try an IIS reset.

Still no luck getting the queue records to process? Enable tracing on the server for BT60Workflow.
