The Sub Report Definition window is used to specify the sub report name and description, as well as any relevant information categories and SQL statements.
To access the Sub Report Definition window:

For new sub reports, select Insert > Sub Report > Sub Report Level > Next

For existing sub reports, select View > Report Properties > [select sub report from] Reports > OK
