SYFG - SY666C
Check printing Customizations
This common code performs multiple purposes. The first option is to print the check number on all check stubs. The second option will activate the conversion of the payee name and address to uppercase letters at check printing time. If this common code entry does not exist, the system will print the name and address as entered in the Person / Entity database. The check's pay line (official check amount) may also be upshifted to all uppercase letters.
Type "UPPERCASE" in the Associated Descriptions fields 1 – 3 to upshift Vendor name, Vendor address, or check pay line. When running APOHPPPA and APOHUPTRP, the fields holding "UPPERCASE" will display in upper case text.
Checks printed from the following utilities are affected by this common code:
- APOHPPPA = see the "Pay Selected Open Hold Entries" report and printed checks.
- APOHUTRP = see the "Reprint Checks / Reprint" report and printed checks.
