Troubleshooting ELF

Problem: Dollar amounts, transactions, customer name, etc., print on the form, but the ELF portion (signature, logo, etc.) does not.
Solution(s):
1. Verify that the form (apcheck.elf, poformat.elf, etc.) has been "Selected" and "Added" to the printer to which you are attempting to print the forms. If more information is needed regarding this process, please see the ELF manual.
2. Verify that you can successfully print from other Windows programs, such as Word or Excel. If you cannot, please contact your system administrator. Re-try the "Select" and "Add" process after the problem has been addressed.
3. If the form you are trying to print is a purchase order: two common codes (FP01/ELFPO and NULP/ELFPO) must be created.

Problem: When you print the form, nothing comes out of the printer.
Solution(s):
1. Verify that you can print from BusinessPlus to the printer. Run your favorite sub-system report to verify this. If you find that you cannot print anything out of BusinessPlus to the designated printer, please contact your system administrator for assistance.
2. Verify that the priority of the job was higher than the job fence. The job fence is typically set to 7, which means that the job should have a priority of at least 8 in order to print (e.g., "01LASER 08").
