Common Codes - 1099-MISC
Below is a list of common codes that the 1099-MISC process uses, listed alphabetically per Code Category. Run BK99CR to evaluate the configuration of these common codes.
Note that "XX" may be (1) a two-character code like RT01/xx would be RT01/AF, or (2) a consecutive number like "CK99/RELATEXX" would be defined within NUUPCD as CK99/RELATE01 (or CK99/RELATE02).

Calculate 1099-MISC withholding, also known as backup withholding or BWH. In order to activate Withholding, both the SSN and TIN must be blank for given PEID. Once the IRS sends notice to withhold at a specified rate, check a toggle box titled "2nd TIN Notice" within the Vendor's record within PEUPPE > Vendor tab > 1099 section. | N | |
