Selection Templates

Prior to uploading budget detail to the destined ledger, the user must create a selection template. The BD Selection Templates (BDUPST) page is used to create one or more templates that will be used to filter and select records from the BD database. A template is used by the budget copy utilities, within BD, or when selecting the BD information to be used for the general ledger budgets. Multiple templates may exist. There are options to define selection criteria on the upload BD to the GL utility. However, having a template available will allow users to have a "Favorite" so to speak, so that each time they do this upload they can use the template instead of setting search criteria.
