Security Setup
Confirm user security setup has been established correctly.
HR Setup
Confirm HR setup is complete for interface with the RM system.
1. Entity Codes (HRRQEN) – Enter "RM" into the Misc #5 field of the entity record that will be used throughout the system. Only one entity can be used. If "RM" does not exist in the Misc #5 field(s), the "ROOT" entity will be used.
2. The HR Non-Entity Specific Codes (HRTBHR) page should have the following codes defined. Some codes are optional and depend upon whether the associated question will be used.
- ACTION_CODE – "RMA" with a description of "Recruitment Management Add." All records inserted into HR from the Hiring Process will use this code as the Action Code value.
- POS/JOB_TYPE – Postings are based on Position Types. These codes may already be defined if the BusinessPlus HR system is already in use.
- DEGREE_CODE – Degree codes are used with the Education section of RMUPHI.
- INSTITUTION_CODE – Institution codes are used with the Education section of RMUPHI.
- MAJOR_CODE – Major codes are used with the Education section of RMUPHI.
- MINOR_CODE – Minor codes are used with the Education section of RMUPHI.
- LICNCERT_TYPE – Type codes are used with the Licenses section of RMUPHI.
- SKILL_CODE – Skill codes are used with the Skills section of RMUPHI.
- WORK_TYPE – Work Type codes are used with the Work History section of RMUPHI.
- REASON_FOR_LEAVE – The Work History section of RMUPHI allows the applicant to indicate why they are leaving or have left their last position.
- PAY_CYCLE – Pay Cycle codes are assigned on the Hire Information pop-up page and are entered into the HR Employee Master record.
- ASSIGNMENT_STAT – Assignment Status codes are assigned on the Hire Information pop-up page and are entered into the HR pay assignment record.
3. HR Entity Specific Codes (HRTBCE) page should have the following codes defined. Some codes are optional and depend upon whether the associated section will be used.
- EXPERIENCE_CODE – Defined in the Entity Specific tab. Codes are used with the Experience section of RMUPHI.
- REQUEST_FISCALYR – Defined in the Entity Specific tab. Codes are used with the posting requisitions.
- EMPLOYEE_TYPE – Defined in the Entity Specific tab. Codes are used when the applicant is hired.
- Location Codes – Defined in the Location tab. Codes indicate the physical location associated with a job/posting.
- Bargaining Unit Codes – Defined in the Bargaining Unit tab. Codes indicate the bargaining unit associated with a job/posting.
4. Common Code NUVR/EXT must be set up to identify the interfacing product.
