MetLife Bill Record

The PYRESRWAMB process takes a file from the state and creates a comma-delimited file that creates HR Benefits using the HRUTZZ process.

Setup

The MetLife Bill Record requires two common codes to be set up:

  • PYWA/SEBBBILL is used to process MetLife Bill Record file in HR. For the PYRESRWAMB process, the following settings are used: Associated Numeric Value 5 and Associated Code 2.
  • PYWA/METCDH0# is used as a conversion table between product codes that the state uses in the MetLife Bill file and the CDH number and Benefit code that HR uses to assign benefits to the employee.

Process

PYRESRWAMB runs a process that creates a report and file from the MetLife Bill file provided by MetLife.

The report shows each benefit that is being created for the employee and its corresponding CDH and amount.

The file, which uses the date that it was run on as part of the name, is created in the C:\WA directory on the Workflow server. This file contains the benefit data that can be used as input to the HRUTZZ interface to load the benefits into the HR subsystem.
