CKID - PY
Check Stock ID For Payroll Checks
Common code category CKID defines check stock parameters. Two distinct types of entries exist:
- Checks for Accounts Payable — CKID/XX for standard bank IDs; CKID/EP for electronic bank IDs
- Checks for Payroll — CKID/PY
CKIDs are typically defined during system installation; caution is advised when altering these entries. CKID security can be set up in the Administrative Console for the CD_CODES_MSTR table under the Nucleus Data node.

Long Description: If common code PYFG/PY660C Associated Description 1 is set to "MICR FROM CKID," enter the MICR account number in the Long Description. See PYFG/PY660C Long Description for more information.
Associated Numeric Values
1: Starting check number current box.
2: Ending check number current box.
3: Starting check number next box.
4: Number of unprintable checks, last in the box.
5: Account number to be used in the debit record on the EFT tape. Payrolls using different EFT stock can make use of different account numbers for the debit amount on the EFT tape. When common code PYEF/TAPE04 Associated Description 2 says CKID, the program which creates the EFT tape will look to a CKID common code of the appropriate check stock which will have a debit account number in description 5.

2: The GL object code for the cash account associated with this check stock ID.
3: The two-character bank ID code representing the desired electronic bank for processing ePayments. Validates to a valid electronic bank ID (CKID/EP) defined specifically for an EPAYABLE.
4: The two-character bank ID code representing the desired electronic bank for processing EFTs. Validates to a valid electronic bank ID (CKID/EP) defined specifically for an EFT.
5: Not used.
