Employee Performance - HREMPF

On the Human Resource (HR) Employee Performance (HREMPF) page, employee evaluation, grievance and disciplinary action information are entered.

Page Header

The header row consists primarily of information from the HR Employee Master page. An employee must be previously defined in the HR Employee Master before records can be created in this page. All the header fields are read only. However, the fields are enabled when in the search mode for use as search criteria.

Entity: Employee's Entity ID from the HR Employee Master record.
Employee ID: Employee's ID Number from the HR Employee Master record.
SSN: Employee's SSN from the HR Employee Master record.
Name: Employee's Name from the HR Employee Master record.
Type: Employee's Type from the HR Employee Master record.
HR: Employee's HR Status from the HR Employee Master record.
PY: Employee's PY Status from the HR Employee Master record.

Notes: Indicates any miscellaneous notes associated with the entry.
User ID: Displays the ID for the last user who updated the record.
Updated: Displays the Date and Time of the last update to the record.

Evaluation Tab

The Evaluation tab records evaluation information including current and upcoming evaluation dates, evaluation status, ratings, and reminder information.

Bargaining Unit: Employee's Bargaining Unit from the HR Employee Master record.
Department: Employee's Department Code from the HR Employee Master record.
Division: Employee's Division Code from the HR Employee Master record.
Salary Anniversary Month: Employee's Salary Anniversary Month from the HR Employee Master record.
Action: Indicates the action/purpose for entering or modifying a record. Possible values are restricted to those defined in the HR Non-Entity Specific Codes (HRTBHR) page where the Code ID equals ACTION_CODE.
St: Indicates the evaluation status of the record. Possible values are restricted to those defined in the HR Non-Entity Specific Codes (HRTBHR) page where the Code ID equals EVALUATION_STAT.
Position: Indicates the position being reviewed. May be system derived and is only accessible in Add mode. Possible values are restricted to those defined in the Position Definition table (hr_postble).
Eval Tp: Indicates the type of evaluation being performed. Possible values are restricted to those defined in the HR Entity Specific Codes (HRTBCE) page where the Code ID equals EVALUATION_TYPE.
Sent Dt: Indicates the date the evaluation was sent.
Due Dt: Indicates the evaluation due date.
Received Dt: Indicates the date the evaluation was received.

Evaluation Primary Tab

Loc: Employee's Location from the PCN Profile.
Job Cd: Employee's Job Code from the PCN Profile.
Assignment: Employee's Assignment number from the PCN Profile.
Evaluation Dt: Indicates the evaluation date.
Eval Dt Range: Indicates the evaluation period begin and end dates.
Next Evaluation Dt: If there is an evaluation period end date in the previous field, one year will be added to that date and displayed in this field. It may be overridden.
Overall Rating: Indicates the overall evaluation rating. Possible values are restricted to those defined in the HR Entity Specific Codes (HRTBCE) page where the Code ID equals OVERALL_RATING.
Evaluator's ID: Indicates the evaluator ID. Possible values are restricted to those defined in the HR Employee Master Definitions.
Evaluator's Name: Indicates the name of the evaluator. The evaluator name will be derived from the evaluator ID field, if an ID exists. A name may manually be entered as well.
Evaluator's Title: The evaluator's title will be derived based on information listed in the Location Codes. If nothing is available, it will be left blank. An entry may manually be made.
PCN: System derived. Represents the PCN of the evaluator, at the time the record was recorded. This information is derived from the evaluator's current "PM" pay assignment.
Pos: System derived. Represents the Position of the evaluator, at the time the record was recorded. This information is derived from the evaluator's current "PM" pay assignment.

Supplemental Tab

Reminder Tp: Indicates the reminder type code. Possible values are restricted to those defined in the HR Entity Specific Codes (HRTBCE) page where the Code ID equals REMINDER_CODE.
Reminder Dt: Indicates the reminder date that is used to inform staff when a reminder should be sent for upcoming evaluations.
Probationary Dts: Indicates the probation begin and end date.
Step Increase: Indicates when the next step increase is possible/available.
Misc: Four miscellaneous ten character data fields.

Grievance Tab

Use the Grievance tab to record employee grievances.

Department: Employee's Department Code from the HR Employee Master record.
Division: Employee's Division Code from the HR Employee Master record.
Location: Employee's Location Code from the HR Employee Master record.
Bargaining Unit: Employee's Bargaining Unit from the HR Employee Master record.
Union: System derived based on Bargaining Units.
Rep: System derived based on Bargaining Units.
Action: Indicates the action/purpose for entering or modifying a record. Possible values are restricted to those defined in the HR Non-Entity Specific Codes (HRTBHR) page where the Code ID equals ACTION_CODE.
Log No: Indicates the log number, which may be entered manually or automatically. For automatic number generating, click on the drop down and select "Auto.
Dt Filed: Indicates the filing date of the grievance.

Grievance Primary Tab

Supervisor: Indicates the supervisor ID. Possible values are restricted to those defined in the HR Employee Master Definitions.
Article: Indicates the contract article ID.
Issue: Indicates the grievance issue. Possible values are restricted to those defined in the HR Entity Specific Codes (HRTBCE) page where the Code ID equals GRIEVANCE_ISSUE.
Status: Indicates the grievance status code. Possible values are restricted to those defined in the HR Entity Specific Codes (HRTBCE) page where the Code ID equals GRIEVANCE_STATUS.
Description: Indicates a description of the grievance.

Arbitration / Misc Tab

Arbitrator: Indicates the name of the arbitrator (Last, First, Middle Initial).
Decision Dt: Indicates the date a decision was reached regarding the grievance.
Decision: Indicates a description of the decision.
Misc: Five miscellaneous ten character data fields.

Discipline Tab

Use the Discipline tab to record disciplinary actions addressed to employees.

Action: Indicates the action/purpose for entering or modifying a record. Possible values are restricted to those defined in the HR Non-Entity Specific Codes (HRTBHR) page where the Code ID equals ACTION_CODE.
Case No: Indicates the case number representing the disciplinary action entry.
Reported By: Indicates the ID of the individual reporting the issue/offense. Possible values are restricted to those defined in the HR Employee Master Definitions.
Issue: Indicates the disciplinary issue/offense being reported. Possible values are restricted to those defined in the HR Non-Entity Specific Codes (HRTBHR) page where the Code ID equals DISCIPLINE_ISSUE.
Report Dt: Indicates the date the issue was reported.
Discipline Action: Indicates the disciplinary action code.
Action Dt: Indicates the disciplinary action date representing when the action/offense occurred.
Misc: Two, five-character, miscellaneous data fields.
Notes: Indicates any miscellaneous notes associated with the entry.
User ID: Displays the ID for the last user who updated the record.
Updated: Displays the Date and Time of the last update to the record.
