Interface Posting Requisition - RMUPPI

The Interface Posting Requisition (RMUPPI) page is used to manage postings.

Search Criteria

The Search Criteria section is used to search existing postings based on various criteria. All fields look for a match based on "begins with". For instance, Posting Description of "K12" will find all postings where the description begins with "K12." If "K12" falls within the description it will not be found.

Posting ID: System-created ID assigned to the posting request via a seeded value defined in the Interface Configuration (RMSSCI) page. If the posting is created through the Applicant Tracking interface the Posting ID is defined in the interface.
External ID: The ID created by the Applicant Tracking system assigned to the BusinessPlus posting request when the posting is submitted to Applicant Tracking. The Applicant Tracking software sends this value back to BusinessPlus. It is the key link between the Posting Requisition and the Applicant Tracking Position Opening.
Posting Description: The Position Title of the posted position.
Status: Check boxes used to limit the postings to show in the grid.
Search: After entering criteria in one or more of the search fields, click Search to receive the results. Records with matching criteria appear in the entity list grid. If no criteria is listed and this button is clicked, all postings will display in the grid. A circular symbol appears during the search process.

Results Grid

The search results are displayed in the grid. Twenty-five postings can be displayed per page. Moving quickly to the next grouping is accomplished using the links in the bottom left corner of the page.  Underlined column headers can be used for sorting the records. Each click will change the sort from an ascending to a descending order continuing to show only those same records per page.

Status: Status of the posting. Codes are predefined in the system and not available for modification. Valid codes are New, Requested, Posted, and Rejected.

  • Requested – A posting that has been submitted is assigned the Requested status. The status triggers workflow for approval. The workflow process sends the posting information to the Applicant Tracking system and returns the Applicant Tracking ID.
  • Posted – Posting approved through workflow.
  • New – Posting has been "Saved" but not yet "Submitted."

Edit: Launches the Interface Posting Details page where the posting can be viewed and edited.
Copy: All postings may be copied. Copying a posting eliminates the need to re-enter most of the data when multiple requisitions need to be created for similar positions. On the posting requisition page, all previous data will be copied except for the Posting Date and Closing Date. The Tentative Start date will default to the current date.
Delete: Any posting not associated with an applicant will show the trash can icon and can be deleted. Clicking the icon causes the posting to be deleted. A confirmation message appears which provides the opportunity to cancel the request. When an applicant is transferred to the BusinessPlus system using the Applicant Tracking Hiring Process they are associated with a Posting ID. For that Posting ID, the CopyPostingSpecific column of the AMPostingDefinition table is updated with the letter "E", resulting in the delete icon no longer appearing. Preventing postings associated with applicants from being deleted prevents applicant records from being orphaned.

New Posting: Launches the Interface Posting Details page where new posting requests are created.
