Immediate Pay Processing

While AP Invoice Entry (APOHININ) is the most popular data entry page, AP Create/Update OH Set (APOHBTUB) is still used for special processing, and to a lesser extent, AP Create/Update Immediate Pay (IP) Set (APIPBTUB) is used.

The APOHBTUB and APIPBTUB pages are essentially the same, the differences being in the way they are posted:

• For AP Open Hold processing, after set creation in APOHBTUB, post the set with APOHBTDS. After set posting, use the Select For Pay (APOHPPSP) page to pick the invoices needed on the next check run. The user can pick data from multiple distributed OH Sets. Run APOHPPPA to process checks, EFTs and E-Payables.
• For AP Immediate Pay, after set creation in APIPBTUB, APIPBTDP posts the Set to the GL and print checks, EFTs and E-Payables for the one Set. Use APIPBTUB to enter invoices for which checks are to be written immediately.
