Professional Development

Introduction

Professional Development is used to create and manage staff education programs via the Web. Once the course detail is set up, end users enjoy 24/7 access to registration, class schedules and a personal record of completed coursework.

Instructors can create courses to be offered for registration, maintain class attendance, and assign grades/credits.  This process can be done from the Web or within BusinessPlus, through the Human Resources (HR) Professional Development (PD) Course Definition (HRPDUPCD) page.  The courses will commonly be created from the Web and approved within PD Course Definition by the PD administrator.

Professional Development includes standard reports and immediate online inquiry to any data in the system. Security-protected reports can be run at the user's networked computer or via the Internet from selected Web browsers.
