Troubleshooting

Printer Setup

Ensure the printer is configured correctly:

  1. Set print sizing settings to "Actual Size" before printing special forms.

  2. For duplex printing, select "Print on Both Sides" in printer settings.

  3. Make sure the Print escape sequence has the form number included: 1099MISC = *&f100y4X, 1099NEC = *&f101y4X, W-2= *&f99y4X, and ACA = *&f1095y4X. When programming print adjustments are made these form numbers are used.

TIFF File Adjustments

Make adjustments to TIFF files if needed:

  1. Minor TIFF adjustments can be requested via Product Tailoring or done using image editing software.

  2. Clients are responsible for keeping appropriate backups, PowerSchool is only responsible for TIFF files created as part of a Product Tailoring project.

  3. When editing, flatten all layers before saving.

Duplex Printing

Need to follow instructions and create a LayerID for the duplex back page found in the Setup-Forms Printing.

Link the LayerID to the NULP Common code per the instructions found in the Setup-Forms Printing.
