The Contract Management (CM) Codes (CMUPCD) page is used to define values for various client-definable coded fields within Contract Management.
Code ID: Code IDs are system codes. The values for these code fields are site-definable within Contract Management. Following is list of the available Code IDs, their respective meanings, and where used:

Code Value: This is the actual code value for the field represented by the Code ID.
Code Description: This field is used to describe the Code Value for a specified Code ID. For example, if Code ID is set to "TYPE" (Type of Contract) and Code Value is set to "FA", then the Code Description field would contain a description of what the code "FA" stands for (e.g., "Facilities"). In this example, on the CM Contract Management page, when the user clicks on the drop-down list of valid Contract Types, the code FA with a description of "Facilities" would be listed as a valid choice for that field.
