Defining Cycles and Tasks

Use the Task/Cycle Definition (CMUPTC) page to define, develop, and appraise contract essentials. The page facilitates the efficient management of a contract, like a worksheet. Manage the contract as if it were a project using Tasks and Cycles. Tasks are small, incremental steps involved in meeting contractual liabilities. Tasks are to a cycle as stages are to a project.

1. Estimate number of days required to complete each task.

2. Organize tasks in sequential order.

3. Assign tasks to users/personnel.

4. Record task completion information.
