Setup - Security

Security is set up in the Administrative Console. The following components need to be configured:

• Initial configuration

• Users

• Security roles

• Workflow groups

• Subsystem functional security

• Multiple security objects

Once set up, several plugins are available to manage security functions:

• Rebuild Security — Rebuild security for one or more users or roles.

• Import Security — Used to load a file of role-based security data into an account.

• Export Security — Used to create a file of role-based security data to be moved from one account to another.

• Role Simulator — Used to test the security for a given user.

• View Security XML — Used to view the actual security structure XML, security role XSL and the user's security XML documents.

• Common Security Listing — Generates a listing of current common links.

• Security Linkages — Visualization of links between common security tables and other tables used for security

• Security Rollover — Roll user security privileges to 7.9 security structure
