Common Security Listing

One of the more powerful aspects of role-based security is the concept of Common Security. Essentially, database tables in BusinessPlus can be linked to commonly used setup tables allowing security to be applied in one place. However, since this list can change from release to release, the Common Security List plugin in the Administrative Console (Security Admin > Analysis) was created to present the user a generated listing of the current common links for their system.

Once launched, the Common Security information can be refreshed or printed.

The output is grouped by the Common Security tables; it shows their description from the Security Structure, followed by the underlying table name. Below each Common Security table is the listing of tables linked to it: The column on the far left is the table name, the column in the middle is the BT20 name used by BusinessPlus, and the column on the right explains how the table is linked to the Common Security table.
