Global Settings in EO

Read Only: Used to make all the EO pages read only. This setting does not apply to the Benefit Enrollment wizard.

Use Frequency Matching: Reserved for future use.

Logon Settings

Disable Logins: Prevent anyone from logging into EO except those logins with EOADMIN, EOPOWER, or EOSUPER associations.

Show System Dates: Controls whether system dates are shown on the Home Message page.

  • Yes

  • No

  • Admin Only: Only users with logins with one of the three admin associations will see the dates on the Home page.

Use HR Status: Directs the system to use the HR Status field on the Employee Master to control whether an employee can access EO. By default, EO uses the PY Status field. When this option is selected, access levels can be determined for each HR Status Code. Code values are defined in the HR Non-Entity Specific Codes (HRTBHR) page under the Code ID of HR_EMPLOYEE_STAT. At least one Status Code must have an Access Level of Read/Write.

Terminated Access

Allow Terminated: Indicates if terminated employees may access EO. The date utilized for comparison is the Term Dt field on the HR Employee Master (HREMEN) page, Term Info tab. When this option is selected, additional options become available.

  • Access Level: Options are Read/Write or Read Only

  • Indefinite Access: Allows former employees to have unlimited access to Employee Online after they are terminated.

  • Number of Months: Indicates how long the access level is granted. Once the Number of Months has passed, the employee has no access.

An intermediary page exists for employees to access EO when the client uses SSO. Based on the HREMEN, Termination tab, Term Date field, the employee is determined to be a current or former employee. The employee can select from the following:

  • Current employee: Click here to login with SSO (Current Employee)

  • Terminated employee: Click here to login without SSO (Former Employee)
