Recalculate Reorder Points - SIINRL
This process will recalculate the Min, Max and Safety stock values based on a product's historical average monthly demand (AMD).
Inventory selection criteria: Enter the desired code or number associated with the desired selection. If multiple selection criteria are desired, separate the desired codes or numbers with commas. For example, if only selection "AA" is desired, simply enter "AA." If the selection "AA" and "BB" is desired, enter "AA,BB." There is no limit to the number of selection criteria that may be chosen. Once the desired selection criteria is entered, the system will prompt for the desired selection criteria values in the order that they were chosen.
Minimum Factor: Enter the factor for minimum supply. The amount entered will be multiplied by the AMD. The result of the calculation will be stored in the Min Supply field of the inventory record. Up to three places to the right of the decimal may be used. A negative amount entered indicates that no change will take place.
Maximum Factor: Enter the factor for maximum supply. The amount entered will be multiplied by the AMD. The result of the calculation will be stored in Max Supply field of the inventory record. Up to three places to the right of the decimal may be used. A negative amount entered indicates that no change will take place.
Safety Factor: Enter the factor for safety supply. The amount entered will be multiplied by the AMD. The result of the calculation will be stored in Safety Stock field of the inventory record. Up to three places to the right of the decimal may be used. A negative amount entered indicates that no change will take place.
