Release 7.9 and later directly update this information on the PEUPPE page, Vendor tab, within the 1099 field. The PE Association is no longer required but still relevant for users of earlier releases.
This common code is used to denote direct sales for a vendor that has met or exceeded $5000. Through the creation of this common code, a Person / Entity Association Assignment (PEUPPE, Second Screen) of "1099BOX9" can be made.
