Default Account Mapping - GLUPDF
The General Ledger (GL) Default Account Mapping (GLUPDF) page is used to establish a link between GL Keys and/or Objects and/or JL Keys and/or Objects. Entries in the Map/To GL Key and JL Key fields are validated against those keys defined on the GL Org Key (GLUPKY) page for the selected ledger. Entries in the Map/To GL Object and JL Object fields are validated against those objects defined on the GL Object Codes (GLUPOB) page for the selected ledger.
Blank Key or Object map/to fields populated with "N/A..N/A" when saving the record.
Check the option "Enable Default Account Mapping" on the Presentation tab of the GL General Information (GLUPGN) page for the default mapping to go into effect.
Optionally, common code GLDF/xx may be defined to further refine how the mappings created on this page are to be processed.
User ID: The ID of the user to which this mapped combination applies, or "@@" if it applies to all users.
Map GL Ledger: Displays the active general ledger code and allows selection of another general ledger via the drop-down list, for which the mapping will apply.
Map GL Key: Enter the Org Key on the GL side to which this mapped combination applies, or enter "@@" to match all GL Org Keys, or leave blank if not applicable to the mapping being defined.
Map GL Object: Enter the Object Code on the GL side to which this mapped combination applies, or enter "@@" to match all Object Codes, or leave blank if not applicable to the mapping being defined.
Map JL Ledger: Displays the active journal ledger code and allows selection of another associated JL ledger via the drop-down list. Only JL ledgers associated with the GL ledger will be available.

To GL Key: Enter the Org Key to substitute on the GL side when all matching criteria are met, or enter "@@" to get the value of the Key/Obj on the other ledger side. For instance, if you put "@@" for the substitute GL Org Key, the system will search for a GL Org Key matching the JL Org Key and put that in for the GL Org Key in the account string at data entry.
