Employee Pay Access Lock - HRRQEL
The Human Resources (HR) Employee Pay Access Lock (HRRQEL) page stores the Login IDs of people who will have update access to expired HR Pay Assignments (HRPYPA/HREPPA only). The HR Quick Pay Assignments (HRPYQP) page is not affected by this function.
The HR System Set Up (HRRQSS) page, Addl Pay Info tab, "Use Pay Assignment Lock" field needs to be check marked in order to turn on the lock checking.
When setup is complete and a change is made to an expired HR pay assignment record, the system checks to see if the employee login exists in this page and, if so, what the Days (Offset) value is. If the comparison date (today – offset) is not within the designated number, error "Record is locked. Pay End is prior to comparison date (today – offset). (HR270)" will display.
If the employee login does not exist, error "Expired Pay Assignments are locked for update. User lacks update security as defined in HRRQEL. (HR269)" will display.
Days (Offset): Indicates the amount of access that a user is given to update expired pay assignment (HRPYPA only) records. In the displayed example, user login EMPLOYEE has access to update records that have expired up to 2 days before the current date.
Employee Login: Indicates the user login associated with the number of days (offset). Each Login ID may be associated with one offset amount. Trying to enter the same Login ID more than once will result in an error being displayed.
