Pay Period Definitions - HRRQPR
The Human Resources (HR) Pay Period Definitions (HRRQPR) page maintains Pay Periods by Pay Cycle and Pay Period Type. This information should match that which is configured using the Payroll Pay Period Definition (PYUPPR) page.
Pay Cycle: Indicates the Pay Cycle and Pay Period values associated with the entry. The Pay Cycle represents the same type of pay cycle as defined in payroll. Code values are defined in the HR Non-Entity Specific Codes (HRTBHR) page under the Code ID of PAY_CYCLE.
Pay Period Type: Indicates the type Pay Period (i.e., monthly, semi-monthly, weekly, bi-weekly). Code values are defined in static system codes.
Period Begin and End Dates: Indicates the time period definitions. The periods should include whole date ranges. These values will be used to compute the number of periods between the pay dates on the HR Employee Pay Assignment (HRPYPA) page. Bi-Weekly payroll should have 26 entries for each fiscal year and cycle. Monthly payroll should have 12 entries for each fiscal year and cycle. Semi-Monthly clients should have 24 entries for each fiscal year and cycle. The values on this page do not necessarily correspond with the Pay Period Definitions in Payroll. Multiple period types may be associated with a pay cycle.
