Salary Schedule Codes - HRTBSC
All salary schedule codes are entered on the Human Resources (HR) Salary Schedule Codes (HRTBSC) page. The codes will then be used to set up HR Salary Definitions (HRTBSL).
Entity: The Entity is used to identify security clearance. The field defaults to the entity associated with the logged in user on HRRQUS, if a record exists. Code values are defined in the HR Entity Codes (HRRQEN) page.
Salary Schedule: Indicates the salary schedule code. Typically, this is a code representing the title of the salary schedule, for example, TEAC (Teacher), ADMN (Administration), etc. This code will be used on the HR Salary Definitions page.
Short Description: Indicates a short description. The description may appear on reports and/or pages.
Long Description: Indicates a long description. The description may appear on reports and/or pages.
Effective Dates: Indicates the dates that the schedule will be effective. Typically, the begin date is the first date that the schedule is in effect and the end date is open-ended (standard 12/31/2050).
Salary Schedule
Action: Indicates the action/purpose for entering or modifying a record. Code values are defined in the HR Non-Entity Specific Codes (HRTBHR) page under the Code ID of ACTION_CODE.
Index Code: Indicates how the index is to be created when the schedule is assigned on the Salary Schedule & Amount (HRTBSL) page. Code values are defined in static system codes.
Schedule Type: Indicates the schedule type, which can be a min-mid-max formula or the completed index formula. Code values are defined in static system codes.
Bargaining Unit: Indicates the associated bargaining unit. Code values are defined in the HR Entity Specific HR Codes (HRTBCE) page, Bargaining Unit tab.
Board Approval Date: Indicates a board approval date, if available/applicable.
Notes: Indicates any associated notes.
Salary Schedule Notes
Any notes such as restrictions, amendments, etc. relating to a salary schedule may be entered here. The Salary Schedule tab must be set up before entering data into this page.
Action: Indicates the action/purpose for entering or modifying a record. Code values are defined in the HR Non-Entity Specific Codes (HRTBHR) page under the Code ID of ACTION_CODE.
Notes: Indicates any associated notes. This is an ideal area to enter schedule agreement information, terms and bargaining unit information.
