1098-T Forms Only - ARRE98FO
Hope Scholarship (1098-T) forms are fully supported in printing the 1098-T forms and producing a magnetic media file for submission to the IRS. ARRE98xx references common code SYNO/1098T, which holds the seed value that will be used to make the Payer's Account Number for the Payee unique. Associated Values 1 and 2 hold the actual seed values. These values are maintained by the system and should not be modified by the user. Associated Code 1 holds the length of the seed value. This should always be 02.
Major to minor Sort Fields: Select major to minor sorting options by clicking on the plus sign in front of the Major to minor Sort Fields tag and clicking the sort option numbers in major to minor order.
AR Selection Criteria: Enter AR Selection Criteria by clicking on the plus sign in front of AR Selection Criteria tag and selecting the area(s) desired.

Address Hierarchy: Enter a two-character address code as defined in the Person/Entity (PE) subsystem. For example, BL could indicate a billing address, HO a home address, PR a primary address, etc. Because multiple addresses may exist for one ID, when processing Statement of Changes, Invoices, Summary of Invoices, or Late Notices the system will prompt the user to enter the address hierarchy. If the address hierarchy is defined as BLHOPR, for example, this would direct the system to search first for an address defined as a BL address type. If a BL type were found, then it would use the address associated to this address type. If it were not found, it would look for the next address type in the hierarchy (HO). If an HO type were found, then it would use the address associated to this address type. If it were not found, it would look for the next address type in the hierarchy (PR). If a PR type were found, then it would use the address associated to this address type. If it were not found, the system would use the first address found.

If additional formats have been created, they should be labeled appropriately, placed in the PERM directory, and the new menu option added to question AR8B (NUUPJBQS). They will then appear and can be selected.
