Pay Base Limits and Description Codes
Code Category: PYPB
Code Value: xx Up to two digits specifying the sequence of the code. There are nine Code Value entries:

There are 42 Pay bases "buckets" available to use. Pay Bases 1 through 22 are reserved for BusinessPlus use (system defined) so you cannot change the code or description in Code Values 01-04 and the first two codes and descriptions for Code Value 05. The final 20 are user-defined, which means each site may label and use these for their own processing or reporting needs.

Medium Description: Used to describe the common code.
Long Description: Used to describe the common code.
Associated Numeric Values
1-5: Enter the dollar value limit at which pay should no longer be added to the Pay Base identified in the corresponding Code field. For example, entering "55500.00000" in the Numeric Value field that corresponds with the FICA Pay Base, directs the system to stop adding to the FICA Pay Base when the limit of $55,500.00 has been reached.

1-5: Enter the short Pay Base description codes that are to appear on some screens (for example, EMPLOYEE ACCUMULATOR screen and reports (for example, Deduction Definition File Listing).
